is known as the city of the seven hills, this geographical situation gives us spectacular viewpoints from different points of the city. But to access them we need to face the steep streets that require a lot of sacrifice to climb them, so we are going to leave here the places that help us avoid the questions and save the difference.
Estación de Rossio
Right next to Praça Do Rossio we will find a fascinating neomanueline facade that will call our attention. In the interior we will find escalators that will be the ones that will facilitate access to Bairro Alto and Chiado.
Escadinhas de Saude
We will find these stairs to the southeast of Praça do Martim Moniz. These stairs are destined to Mouraria, a place where Lisbon ceases to be European capital and is a Portuguese town where you travel to a past where the idiosyncrasy of the Portuguese is denoted.
Elevador do Castelo
Connect the Baixa with the surroundings of the castle. The access to the castle is made in two sections by different lifts: the first one we take in Rua dos Fanqueiros, in the Baixa (very close to the Plaza del Comercio).
The first elevator leaves us at the Rua da Madalena where we can choose to stay in the area or go up to the second elevator, located in the old Mercado do Chão do Loureiro, which is the one that leaves near the castle.
